I know steel rings are made of metal alloys – a perfect combination of metals that is carefully made so that it’s safe for humans to wear. Now what made me wonder is the difference between silver rings and steel rings are? Both possess the same physical property (silver in color) and all are safe for human use.
Well, obviously the chemical properties are different but what else? In my mind, I think the difference is the price. I believe silver rings are expensive (depending how many percent of silver is used) compared to steel rings. And because of this, some prefer steel rings as wedding bands nowadays. They have the feel of silver and if the budget fits, they can embed it with little bits of synthetic diamond.
