Hair Treatment

Being stressed from work, I decided to have a hair treatment with my mom yesterday.

Honestly, if there’s something that I want to look glorious, it would be my hair. It seems that I can’t figure out what looks best for my hair. Years ago, I had a perm and was really satisfied, and I never wanted to cut it off. But thanks to my previous manager, all girls HAD to have their freaking hair cut. So last 2 months ago, I got a perm but I was not satisfied, I guess it’s because the result was not as perfect as I had imagined, I think I got a bad perm. It was too curly, and too frizzy, so I was facing the wrath of the curls! 😥

That’s why my mom and I went to the salon yesterday and had our hair done. We both had cellophane (which I thought will make all those friz go away) but I was wrong, it was more of hair color. RAWR! Oh well, but it made my hair softer so I guess this will work for the meantime.

I also used one of the home made recipes that I got from the web for hair conditioner just before I type in this post. It’s called:

Hair Egg Conditioner Recipe
(www.creativehomemaking.com)

1 teaspoon baby oil
1 egg yolk
1 cup water

Beat the egg yolk until its frothy, add the oil then beat again. Add to the water. Massage into the scalp and throughout your hair. Rinse well.

And now, my hair is soft but a bit oily, which is fine since I’ll be rinsing and shampooing later.

How about you? Care to share any home made beauty recipe?

  1. Hi–I’ve got naturally curly hair and one thing they say is don’t wash it too often–my sisters with more curls than i have say to use purell conditioner but not the regular but to go to the ethnic hair section because it is better for your hair. Hope this helps–am from follow me club http://www.answersformoms.org

  3. Hi,thanks for this tip.I’m not really the type who experiments with my hair using home remedies (because I have no idea how hehe).I normally rely on hair experts in various salons around. It really depends on the products and procedures that the salon is using and following.Sometimes they have the right products but they don’t know how to use them the right way, hence the poor result.

I used to work for a company which gives seminar-workshops to salon workers on how to properly execute hair rebonding and hair coloring and we were shocked to know that not all of them are knowledgeable of the right procedures, yet they’ve been hair stylists for the longest time. That’s why the colors and the effects aren’t achieved.
