Last week, I went to the mall to buy my daughter a Christmas gift. Her godmother from Thailand sent money to spend for her for Christmas.

Before arriving at the mall, we passed by a construction site. Another mall-hotel building is being built. My husband and I talked about how big buildings are built faster compared when we were little. We also discussed about the aid of computers on design and planning. And since I am a graduate of civil engineering, I shared to him about metal buildings and how technology evolved all these times. What I learned back in college might be considered as “old-school” compared to what the new generation are being taught at present.

With all the fast-paced technology, I wonder how buildings will be built in the future!
