Yesterday, I was so engrossed in surfing the net and came across the word Mesothelioma. Now I’m not a nursing graduate, or even close to knowing medical terms and such so I dug deeper. I came across this website explaining what mesothelioma is and how to avoid and treat it. Apparently, this is a type of cancer caused by asbestos exposure… And did you know that “In the United States, chrysotile has been the most commonly used type of asbestos. According to the U.S. EPA Asbestos Building Inspectors Manual, chrysotile accounts for approximately 95% of asbestos found in buildings in the United States.” – from Wikipedia. Hmmm, no wonder those fiberglass were invented.
