My Dream House
When I was still single, I always wanted a house big enough for my family and parents. But since that’s not feasible for the meantime, I guess I’d rather save up and start building my dream house, well, in my dreams. The dream house that I’ve built so far needs to at least have 4 bedrooms: 1 for my small family (that’s me, my hubby and my baby Julie), 1 for my parents, 1 for my little brother when he grows up and decides to have a room of his own, and 1 for the helper. These rooms needs to have a bathroom of its own, and for my family’s and my parent’s room, I’d definitely want them both to have a bathtub with hot water. These bedrooms should have carpeted floors and wallpapers, all color coordinated – I’d want our room to be in shades of violet. :laugh: Anyways, as for the kitchen, I’d definitely want it to have a stove top oven (I’ve been wanting one ever since I was a kid… I want to learn how to bake! >_< ) with an island in the middle for prep work and glass tile backsplash. Anyways, as far as my building process is concern, I guess that’s where I stopped. I’m still imagining what the bedroom and living room interior would look like… :yes:

Looks great! I would love a new kitchen! I would also love a huge ranch style home with really tall cathedral ceilings and a huge full finished basement for the boys to play in! However, I do love the house we have now b/c it has been in my family for over 30 years and we have put so much into it.
If I had a house that my family owns for over 30 years, I’d probably feel the same too. ^_^
