FaceBook Account

If you are someone who loves the internet like me, most likely than not, you would own at least one social networking account like MySpace, Friendster, or FaceBook, personally I’m into Friendster and FaceBook. I’ve been using Friendster for more or less 3 years now, though I’m not that active but I usually visit my other friend’s profiles just to check out what’s new. I want to “anonymously” (as if I could do that and hide from the “who’s viewed me” link) lurk around other’s profiles, especially viewing their pictures. If you think that I’m stalking someone in particular, no I’m not. I just go random, though I always visit my hubby’s profile. He. He.

New Blogs

I have been wanting to own another domain, and yesterday, I finally decided to purchase a .info website. I paid $1.99 for the domain name good for one year in godaddy.com. I won’t tell you guys the name yet, but some of you may already know the site’s URL, but for those who don’t, let’s just stay put, and I’ll tell you guys once it’s ready for launch, and of course, I’ll be asking for link exchanges as well hoping to gain some page relevance for the site in the future. :) I’m not sure if getting a .info domain name is a good decision though, any inputs on this? :-?

Information Security

I have been working with a company that sells computers and I have been encountering customers looking for security for their systems, not only from virus attacks, even from physical theft of their computer, specifically laptops. Did you know that in the US, laptops are being stolen every 53 seconds, and would result from identity and information theft? That is why a lot of fraud issues are being reported every day. Of course, knowing that information security is important, some universities are focusing on masters information security studies, one of which is The Lewis University Online Master of Science in Information Security.

Domain Updates

Last week, I kept getting emails from Google Apps telling me that my annual subscription to this domain (www.momhoodmoments.com) is about to expire on June 11, 2009, but since they would only allow Google Checkout as their mode of payment, I had to deposit the equivalent peso amount of $10 on my debit card, and thanks to my hubby, I was able to make my payment just in time: Read the rest of this entry »

Surplus Shops

I almost freaked out a while ago and wanted to toss our computer chair out of the window literally! Why? Cause it’s broken… I tried to fix the freaking chair but unfortunately, it still automatically lowers me down, it was really annoying, that I started browsing on online surplus shops hoping that I could find a cheap yet working computer chair. I tried sulit.com.ph and google and searched around the world wide web and I’m actually liking what I found, but my husband told me that I should just go look from a real surplus shop just few blocks away, at least I could try and have a feel on the chair first before purchasing it… Good point. ;-)
