Baby Julie’s FIRST STEPS
June 12, 2008… My eyes got teary as I was witnessing my baby Julie’s first steps! It was wiggly but she can manage to “baby walk” for 3-5 steps without anyone or anything supporting her. Gosh… My baby is growing up so fast! It got me so excited but at the same time, there was a little “it’s hard to believe” sadness inside me… I just can’t believe that my baby Julie is growing up! The transition from the little baby who was once inside me is now starting to walk like a little girl…
Cleaning Made Easy
Cleaning the house… Argh! Sometimes it can be really annoying and energy consuming. As a working mom, cleaning should not take the most out of my resting time. From sweeping the floor, to dusting the place, it can really be quite a tedious job. I use the local feather duster and the traditional broom which more often than not just spreads the dusts more and never actually cleans them up. But good thing I found these cordless vacuums! These vacuums earned the coveted Energy Star rating.
Name Change – The Journey To SSS
Yesterday, I went to SSS Binondo Branch to finally change my name from Maricel Tan to Maricel Waniwan, and declared my baby Julie Rayne as a dependent. It was actually my 2nd time to visit this branch because during my first visit, they told me that they needed a Certified True Copy of my marriage contract and not the original one. It was really annoying because they never specified that. So I had to wait for a week or so just to able to get my CTC of marriage contract from NSO Helpline, which sends the document straight to your home.
